according to the portuguese law (i believe it’s a european law), when a device malfunctions during the guarantee
and you take it back to the shop for repair, the shop has to return it to you in a maximum of 30 days or, you’ll be
refunded: the device will be replaced imediately by a brand new one, or if they don’t have that device anymore you
get your money back.
that’s what happened to me. after 37 days of waiting, i went back to the shop and got a brand new computer.
my computer was 15 months old, they didn’t had the exact same model so, i had a credit of 1300€…
i needed a laptop anyways and since “once you go mac, you never go back”, i got myself another apple.
the old one was a 1.8ghz with a 80gb hard drive. one and a half year later, i got for the same price a 2.6ghz with
a 250gb hard drive, brand new with another 2 years guarantee… i was lazy but lucky 
this time i joined “the dark side of the force”.

birthday gift from my sister.
i enjoyed it big time, it was good to be with marta and antho. it was perfect actually.
anthony is a buddy of mine from france, my best friend over there and he is polyglot like me. his portuguese sucks, but sometimes you get to understand something and he understands a bit of portuguese because he is half italian and some words resemble.
marta is a friend from school, she’s a great compannion for this kind of stuff: allways ready for party, autonomous, and she never forgets anything. she speaks a bit of french and english so we had no trouble to understand each other.
unfortunately, these are the only pictures i have from the whole festival and they aren’t that good.
me and antho just took a tent and a glacier full of sagres, super bock, stella artois, corona, grolsch and absolut vodka. there was nothing left at the end of the festival and marta is diabetic, she does’t drink
marta had everything, flashlight, blanket, pillow, mattress, even mellon and meat loaf. me and “poirrot” (as she used to call him) slept cold, on a hard floor, with no confort at all. but we had drinks, chips and some cookies.
that’s why i said marta never forgets anything…
we didn’t saw that many good concerts, the poster was nothing special but we managed to enjoy these great moments:
besides, i celebrated my birthday again. thank you for these hollidays sister :*

my 15 months old macbook crashed. i wanted to take it to repair before going to paredes de coura but i didn’t had the time. i mean… i had all the time in the world but i was lazy. when the time comes, i’ll tell you how lucky i was by being lazy…

the festival is over… i should be tired and sad. instead, i was tired and excited: my friend antho came from france and we allways have real FUN when we meet!

my best friend (and coordinator), the beautifull girl on the left with the eyes closed in the last pic, gave me a break to enjoy the entire show of the mars volta as a b-day gift. something i wanted realy bad. that’s another band i’m looking forward to watch again and that i’ll wont miss.

portugal’s best summer festival:
Festival Paredes de Coura.
every summer i travel from the center to the south and then to the north of portugal. this was my 3rd consecutive year….
there’s a region called alto minho that makes border with the spanish region of galiza. i also go to spain everytime for shopping but there’s not where i want to take you. the action is in a very small town called paredes de coura. i love festivals and my favorite one happends here. not just because i work there (and i have the best job in the world), but also because the place is perfect and most of the bands that are in the poster are very good. the production of the festival has very good taste. as a proud member of the crew, i realy have to say that the crew itself is fantastic! everyone get along pretty well and gives the best they can to make it a beautifull festival. i always get to see most of the concerts i want, sometimes on stage you see, i know some people… HEHEHEH realy, the crew is awesome and once again i’m realy proud to be part of it.

…that i was going to the bike meeting. i had a blast down there! i was drunk all the time (like always), i saw a lot of awesome bikes (like always), but for the first time, my bike stood parked in the same place since the arrival until the departure back home. i didn’t went to the beach, i didn’t went to the meet my friends that were outside of the meeting, nothing… i spent all the time inside, drinking, drinking, drinking… . …drinking, drinking & drinking. i’m pretty sure i bought at least 100 beers
